EAG Welcomes Three New Clients in a Very “Six-Degrees-of-Separation” Way

EAG Advertising & Marketing’s newest clients, Granslos Capital, Applewood Books and Florida Garage Door & Gate, are prime examples of how you’re never more than six professional or social connections away from gaining new business.

“The connections we make and how they morph into business is truly fascinating. The founder of Applewood Books is my mentor from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program. Granslos Capital is a former EAG client’s brand-new business venture. And, a former employee recommended EAG to owner of Florida Garage Door & Gate, who also happens to be his friend and best man at his wedding,” explains Michele Markham, president and owner of EAG Advertising & Marketing. “Of course, we look forward to partnering with these business owners on their marketing strategies going forward. But, also it’s nice to know we make memorable and trusted connections along the way. Networking is one thing, but to be remembered or recommended months or years down the road is terrific.”

First Degree Connection

Applewood Books is located in Carlisle, Ma, northeast of Boston. Owner, Phil Zuckerman, is a mentor for the Goldman Sach 10,000 Small Business program to which Michele was accepted. As fate would have it, Phil thought of his mentee, Michele. EAG is working currently on brand positioning and will roll into development for a new website soon, followed by additional marketing initiatives.

Second Degree Connection, Once Removed

Jacques Dahan founded Florida Garage Door & Gate in 2013. But well before that, he was friends with Andrew Haim. Andrew is a former EAG employee who moved back to New York a handful of years ago. Florida-resident Jacques asked New Yorker Andrew his opinion, who recommended EAG in Kansas City. We are updating the company’s website and will launch a digital campaign with ads and landing pages to increase leads via form submissions.

First Degree Connection

Granslos Capital founders, Matt Fulks and Sam Johnson, combine their experience in business ownership, finance and real estate, putting skin in the game to find asymmetric investments with limited downside risk and high upside potential. Matt isn’t new to EAG. He chose EAG for advertising and marketing strategy for his former company, Fulks Landscaping. To start, we are developing a website for Granslos, along with website copy.
