Tip: Logos and Brand Identity
The testing of a new logo is an important part of the entire brand development process. If you can afford to conduct a structured logo test by a research professional, then all-the-better. But if that step is just not practical then carefully ask for input from friends, family, peers and customers. But don’t ask ‘what they like’ because you’ll get as many answers as there are people in the room. Instead, ask structured questions like, “Which logo best portrays our brand promise?” or “Which logo speaks to our brand promises of trust and integrity?” It’s complicated but EAG can help.
