Creatively, billboards might be one of the greatest challenges in advertising. That might seem odd considering the sheer size of a billboard but consider this: Try explaining the features, benefits or advantages of your product or service to somebody verbally. Oh, and you only get 5 words and 3 seconds. It’s a little like playing Charades. Less is more with a billboard. Let the visual element explain the message and use the words to tell people who or where you are.
