A little digging into consumer perception revealed that consumers believed Heelusions is a shoe, but in fact it is a shoe accessory. To change that belief, we redesigned the company’s website to educate visitors on the product and company’s culture. We selected a unique product-shot for the hero image and simplified the navigation menu for a better user experience. We added descriptive content about the accessory and the company, along with easy how-to instructions on wearing the accessory. As a result, the site’s bounce rate decreased with visitors staying on the site longer and browsing more pages.
