(just a small town girl livin’ in a…)
When I grow up I want to be:
Practicing artisanal caseiculture and joking about who “cut the cheese”
The last great book I read:
The Circle by Dave Eggers
Favorite food:
Cheese, ice cream & carbs – in no particular order
Significant people:
My parents: Eugene & Lori
Favorite movie:
Moonrise Kingdom
Something unique:
I’ve rafted a class 5, enjoyed the view from a hot air balloon over Turkey, taught for a month in Africa, but I’ve never seen When Harry Met Sally.
Bio:
Four Fried Chickens and a Coke. No, that’s a band. It’s Ashley who had 13 chickens (not fried), two dogs and three cats as a kid. And at the ripe ol’ age of 12, she won a design contest. Familiar with Betty Spaghetty? You have Ashley to thank for the Betty Spaghetty in Space doll.
Fast forward a few years… Today you’ll always find a pencil (or several) and a notepad in her hands. That’s where her creative design ideas start as scribbles on a page. That’s where graphic designs for brands like Sonic, Chili’s, Village Inn and BJ’s Brewhouse originated, as well as some for smaller companies when she worked at a print shop.
When greeting Ashley, we recommend the standard “M-I-Z.” She’ll respond appropriately. Ashley graduated from Mizzou with a journalism degree, and is the proud holder of Tigers football season tickets. Antiquing and adventuring anywhere and everywhere with her fiancé helps ease withdrawal from football season.
