July 24, 2020 (Kansas City, MO) – The EAG Advertising & Marketing team is recovering “virtually” from celebrating Angela Ridpath, EAG’s vice president of client services, being “crowned” with the 2020 Bob Stone Direct Marketer of the Year award. The popular 2020 AMBIT Awards took place virtually Thursday evening, July 23.
The Kansas City Direct Marketing Association (KCDMA) recognizes a professional who stands out in the Kansas City marketing community, exemplifying innovation, ethics and selfless contribution to the marketing community at the Association’s annual AMBIT awards.
What makes a marketer Bob Stone Direct Marketer of the Year-worthy? He or she:
- Contributed greatly to the growth and advancement of successful direct, data-driven marketing
- Been a mentor, showing unselfish dedication to sharing knowledge with other marketers
- Brought a spotlight of distinction to the Kansas City marketing community
- Is an active KCDMA member and participant, both in attendance and contribution

Angela is an accomplished marketer who is passionate about growing businesses. Building relationships, gaining trust, and uncovering new opportunities for clients are the cornerstones of her success. She is a past president of Kansas City’s Data-Driven Marketers Association.
Angela joined EAG in March. Previously she was with MCH Strategic Data for four years as an executive-level visionary, building and growing their brand through organic and paid channels. Prior to MCH, she held leadership positions at Keypath Education, Bernstein-Rein Advertising and H&R Block and brought data-driven marketing strategy to companies, including T. Rowe Price, American Century Investments, Capital One, McDonalds, Beauty Brands, PetSmart, Bayer Animal Health, Walmart and Family Dollar Stores.
In her virtual acceptance speech, Angela left AMBIT Award attendees with this sage advice, “Embrace data. Take a look at the data. Data will help you make more informed, more intelligent decisions, and be a better marketer. Cheers!”
