Creativity is why we get up in the morning
Small business creativity is thinking, reacting and working in an imaginative way that results in a high degree of innovation, originality and risk taking. Small business creativity is also practical.
Imagine being surrounded by the creative energy of brilliant entrepreneurs and being asked to come up with a new idea. That’s challenging and that’s what we face every day.
Our clients are demanding and have good reason to be. They’ve trusted us to accurately and passionately extend their vision with creative advertising messages.
We never forsake solid strategy for our creative egos. Sometimes the budget just won’t allow us to produce our first idea, or our second. But we’re okay with that. We’re in it for the long haul.
What we do is quite simple; we create words and pictures that sell. How we do it is quite different.
For example, let’s talk about creative design, specifically logo design. Imagine your 25 year old company is considering an update to your logo and other graphic design elements. Many graphic designers and so-called advertising agencies will immediately jump into design mode. That is, begin to design graphic elements of your new logo.
But long before pencil-hits-paper (or fingers touch keyboard) there is work to be done. A 25-year old company has history to be recognized and more importantly, equity in their existing logo and identity. You never want to foresake design for proper business decisions.
In fact, one of our greatest successes in rebranding an established and successful company was to convince them not to redesign their logo. We suspected that this company simply questioned how they were percieved by customers.
After some careful research (careful, not expensive) we understood that all this brand needed was a little face-lift around the edges. The logo, in all its decades of glory, stayed intact. Everything else was slightly updated and the brand looked bright and cheery, ready for the next 30 years. And the client saved a ton of money.
Small business is about thinking clearly about the past and the future. This is true too for graphic design.
Contemporary graphic design is only contemporary today. Tomorrow it’s retro. At EAG we check our ego at the door so your graphic design project, from logo on, is timeless.
Every day we use our talents as business planners, strategists and marketers to develop compelling messages that sell. It just so happens that the form and function of these messages can vary greatly. Our creative design talents have produced the following:
Logos, business cards, letterhead, building signs, vehicle signs, billboards, posters, magazine ads, newspaper ads, sales brochures, annual reports, websites, electronic newsletters, blogs, Facebook pages, search engine optimization campaigns, printed newsletters, social media campaigns, TV and radio ads, corporate videos, catalogs, tradeshow graphics and displays, sales promotion items, point of sale displays, and a whole lot of happy clients.
